Weekly Recap
Evan sweeps the awards. Larry files for bankruptcy.
Evan Seacat turned Week 3 into his own awards ceremony, beating Jack Decker 128.58 to 85.73. Sleeper named him Highest Scorer, Biggest Blowout and Overachiever after he beat his 96.69 projection by a reported 33%. Brock Purdy added QB of the Week with 33.28, and George Kittle took TE of the Week with 23.80. Jack was invited strictly as a witness.
Sean Laird earned Sleeper’s Best Manager award by getting 98% of his 89.04 point perfect lineup. His actual 86.94 still lost to Stephen Spencer’s 121.80. Sean squeezed almost everything out of the roster. Stephen had Jahmyr Gibbs, whose 37.90 earned RB of the Week. Sometimes excellent management just produces a well organized loss.
Chad Van Horn beat Chris Scurry 98.49 to 74.92. Sleeper gave Scurry Worst Manager for reaching 68% of a 110.30 point perfect lineup, while Michael Wilson’s 20.40 earned WR Benchwarmer of the Week. Chad left the week’s best benched quarterback, Bo Nix and his 23.89, on the sideline and still won comfortably.
Mike Aguanno beat Larry Noel 97.64 to 63.54. Larry collected Lowest Scorer and Below Expectation, finishing a reported 33% below his 95.08 projection. The boardroom has requested that Wrench stop submitting these numbers as a business plan.
Alex Buell beat Pavel Kogan 118.89 to 93.66. Jaxon Smith Njigba delivered 30.36 and Sleeper’s WR of the Week award. Alex also had TE Benchwarmer of the Week Harold Fannin’s 21.30 on the bench. Plenty of production, one comfortable win.
Rob Lazerson beat Tom Burkett 119.06 to 97.19. Their 21.87 point gap was the closest finish of the week, earning Sleeper’s Narrow Victory award at a reported 22.5% margin. That counts as suspense only because every other game was even less competitive. Jack’s Keaton Mitchell completed the bench awards with 12.20 at running back.
